Some of the other influences came from the american goth and punk cultures, hence why two of the sub-categories of Loli Fashion are goth and punk. Most of the skirts for any for of the different styles are to the knee and worn with a petticoat or pannier. Most lolita wear over the knee socks or stockings that may have patterns on them. The shoes are usually Mary Janes or they may be boots. Many think Mana-sama made the style popular, even though the style began in the 1970's in Japan. |
